It is with the most heavy heart and saddness that we announce the passing of our dear colleague and friend, geologist and geomorphologist, actively involved in S4C initiatives, professor Bartłomiej Wyżga. Our community has lost not only a valuable member, who committed his professional life to the Carpathians, but a great friend, superb scientist and teacher, a good person always ready to help. Our sadness is immeasurable.
